Curic Scene Manager

I was recently alerted to this extension by the @SketchupEssentials. Looks like a good one and one I wish was already built in.

I have noticed one oddity which I presume is related to the use of the extension. You can see what it is in this screenshot:

As you can see, the SU scenes have been duplicated. They are not duplicated in the Scene Manager dialog box.

I guess if you use SM rather than the SU tabs, it doesn’t matter much, but if it happens regualrly it could be a bit of a glitch. Anyone else seen this behaviour?

I’m not using this extension, but using the Sketchup UI, it will give a new unique name when you add new scene, and you are not allowed to re-name the scene same as the existing one.

However Ruby API allows to create this duplicate names. I guess Curic SM (or other extension?) creating this duplicates - as your screenshot shows, and this may handled properly within that extension.

However the users who get this model and doesn’t use this extension, could be confused (see above), or user using other extension dealing with scenes can get an unexpected result, because of duplicated names of scenes is not an expected behaviour. (Normally the extension creator should handle this API behaviour properly.)
