I’m excited to introduce Curic Line++, a free plugin that makes the native Line tool in SketchUp even more powerful and user-friendly.
When using the Line tool, we often need to check the length of the segment we’re drawing. Curic Line++ displays the line length directly at your cursor in real time. This simple enhancement lets you stay focused on your model without looking down at the Measurements box.
Features of Curic Line++:
• Displays line length at your cursor while drawing.
• Works seamlessly with the native Line tool – no extra shortcuts or commands needed.
• Makes your workflow faster, more precise, and more intuitive.
Curic Line++ is free to use and easy to install. Just activate it, and the Line tool will automatically display real-time lengths as you draw!
I’m also preparing to release Curic Measure++, a plugin that extends the Tape Measure tool with advanced features, such as measuring thickness, tilt angles, and distances between faces. I hope you’ll look forward to it!
@curic4su or anyone else here who uses Curic plugins:
Is there any source of support or documentation for these extensions? I’m trying to learn everything I can about them and it’s slow going doing it on my own. For Curic section I found this file which was extremely helpful:
I’ve seen the TutorialsUp videos and those are extremely fast and have no explanation in them.
I love these extensions and this is in no way a complaint. They’re worth the price that they cost even with no documentation. I’m just asking if there’s a forum, a youtube channel, or something out there that I’m missing that would be helpful to me and others who need help with these tools.
@curic4su, you woke up a bit late ; I’ve been using it for about a month. Imo, I didn’t even notice that I had it activated. I probably got used to the default SU line and no longer noticed the line length number. But I recommend that those who use this extension install Curic LengthSnapping as well.
I am an active user of Curic extensions. There used to be a forum on FB where @curic4su actively participated; now, after that forum was closed, I have to get the information from the YT myself. If you have any questions and I know the answer, I will gladly help you.
I think it is better to have topic threads specific to each extension (like this.)
Otherwise, we wind up with interlaced confusing discussions. This can also happen with talk for different distinct issues with the same extension. But at least there is some natural filtering.
