I am trying to create a 3D model of a property I am working on. House is done and the 2D layout of the garden is as well. I want to bring the garden to life by changing the levels to suit the real life levels. I am having huge issues with this! The driveway I would like to pickup by 130mm across the dotted line then slope back to the garage and road in a flat plane. As I have curved edges it just makes usual methods (for me) impossible.
I’ve been going through the free lessons mentioned above, they are pretty awesome and empowering.
When you see people telling others to start learning the basics, and provide a link to where they can, it isn’t hard to imagine that the person being told would be tempted to be offended.
Now, I’m not saying that’s you, in fact I’ll go ahead and confess that that has been me sometimes. I’ve even taking an offence just from seeing it happen to others, but I encourage you to take it as a blessing.
This particular coarse taught me A BUNCH of stuff I otherwise would have never learned or even thought to research. The landscaping tools mentioned here, are extremely powerful.
It’s a coarse that will take you through a step by step process of making a neat park in Washington.
Be encouraged! There are many here who are willing and eager to help steer us in the right direction.
You may be wanting a quick “click this, edit that” but ultimately that’s just giving you a fish.
Sure, if they really want to be. But if you have been on this forum for a while, you would know that @mihai.s is an incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable source of SU knowhow, especially when it comes to some of the fancier things. I am sure he had no intention of being rude, just straightforward.
