This is not your operating system. You should enter the version of MacOS that your machine is running. (You can note in parenthesis that the CPU is Intel as opposed to a silicon processor.)
Well, I’ve tried moving and duplicating various objects in your model and it’s behaving fine for me. I do see some strange grouping of objects like the sink basin and a cabinet side and the cabinet doors and a box.
Can you record a screen video showing how you are moving or duplicating objects in a way that makes SketchUp crash? When it crashes are you getting Bug Splats? If so, are you sending them in with your email address attached?
I don’t know how to record while I’m working, so I guess I’ll just proceed with crashes because I feel I need to finish this today.
I am very new to this. I am working on my first-ever project. I built that sink away from the main little house, just started with a line out into space…I started crooked and didn’t realize it, 'till I got back to the model.
I need to do more intelligent grouping/try to utilize components more as I go. That cabinet and sink pairing is a straight-up mistake. Thank you for catching it.
I will try to install a newer version, asap. because maybe that’s it.
also, I AM getting bug splat reports and sending them in. I hadn’t put my email, though because I assumed the report would be affiliated with my account, but I will put it next time.
Put your name or email and description on your crash and I’ll take a look. Make sure you’re on the current version of SketchUp: click SketchUp->Check for Update.
We recently had a bug where Check for Updates was only giving you the next version, so if you were 3 versions behind, you’d update and then have to update again and again. That’s been fixed.
