Sketchup could not open file.
When I click short cut icon on the desktop,
Sketchup ( 23.0.419 ) can run with file.
but In below condition, Not start, It crash with ntdll.dll error.
Sometime, it works.

Crash condition :

  • When I double-click a file.
  • When I click filename from the task bar Sketchup icon

for this testing, I prepare New Windows 11 PC ( freshed installed OS ).
After New WIndows 11 started,
and I install Sketchup 23.0.419 as demo.
I tried 3 PC. but Same situation.

I can run Sketchup from desktop icon.
but If I click “skp” file, not start. Crash with NTDLL.DLL error.

ps.
I installed WIndows 11 ( Japanese ).
but I installed Sketchup English ( I removed Japenase language ).
Is this problem ?
in case of Japanese langauge-Sketchup, it crash as same.

Of course, I read all thread in this forum.
and I re-installed all Microsoft C++ library too.
but I could not resolve this problem.

To run sketchup from a file double click,
I have to click 8-10 times.
it generated many NTDLL.DLL event in eventviewer.
but Sketchup can run “sometime”.
not always…

Why ?? I wonder there is no same report in this forum.

こんにちは。別のアカウントから試しましたか?破損した管理者アカウントでこのクラッシュが発生することがあることを読みましたが、別のユーザーアカウント(ゲスト)に変更すると解決します。何度か再インストールしたので、あなたの場合はそうではないかもしれませんが、私が試すことを提案できるのはそれだけです。

Unfortunately,
Even if I change the user, guest,
Sketchup 2023 could not run on Windows 11 Japanese version.
I think, Developer team should do test it.

Question :
Where should we the bug report ?
in here ?
