I’m trying to convert multiple components to an SVG file so I can use them on my SHAPER Origin. I just upgraded from sketch up 2021 to sketch up 2025 and now using a Mac instead of a pc and cannot figure out how to convert them. Any help appreciated! Thanks!
SVG is a vector image format, the closest you can do from sketchup natively, is export to dxf and import from other software like illustrator, inkscape or Qcad
Is there anyway to Import a SVG into Sketchup 2025 ? Some plugin’s worked in previous versions of SU but no longer work in SU2025.
@ibhnl I’m probably arriving a little late, but did you try OpenCutList ? It is specifically designed for exporting to Shaper Origin.
@ION-Volunteer , I only know a paid extension.

Thank you so much for your reply.
I reviewed YouTube and other sources, but the plug-in OpenCutList is only able to Export.
I wish to Import.

Yes OpenCutList can only export. That was just an answer for the first topic question.
Second part of my previous answer was for your question.
A workaround would be to use an illustration application like Inkscape (free) or Illustrator (expensive) to open the SVG and to export it from there to DWG or DXF and then import that into SketchUp.
