Convert pdf to jpg - Windows Users

Would this be categorised as ‘Technical problems ?’

Mac users can import pdfs but not Windows Users - like me ! and I don’t have photoshop which I think some suggested

There were some posts on this in 2017 and not sure if anything since.

This MAY be another option if you would like to trial and test

Found this, don’t know if its been spotted before and there is probably similar out there.

Called ‘Any pdf to jpg’ and it ‘does what it says on the can’ (UK advert) :united_kingdom:

Recommend doing a test run on new file first to check out if it is ok for you before import result into a current project …just in case.

I have used it a few times and all good

If any more knowledgable users thinks it has problems and should be avoided etc please give feedback and share your thoughts

Found a lot of help and tips from others this Community over the last few years and maybe this might be my little contribution in return

With the release of SketchUp 2026, Windows users CAN import PDF files.

If you want to create a raster image to import instead, you could use an online service such as you suggest. I’ve found making a screenshot and saving it as a png works well enough in most cases. If the PDF contains vector linework I will sometimes use Inkscape to create a .dxf file from the PDF which I then import into SketchUp.

This is a PDF imported into SketchUp on Windows.
