With some regularity, a situation arises when copying or making circles in which the copied part is not seen by SU as a continuous part.
Learned through the tutorials (thanks Aaron 
that this can be solved by redrawing a segment.
Can this issue be prevented? Am I doing something wrong? See examples below:
Try to use Origin as center, use inferences and no guides are needed

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, this suggestion does not resolve the issue. While watching your video and testing I did find the solution… See video. The only question that remains is what the reason is.
