I’ve recently gotten into ship modelling, and am trying to learn how to use a table of offsets.
Having managed to plot the buttocks and waterlines, I’m still left with an array of unconnected curves. The data for each line is limited to where it intersects the station lines, failing to reach the keel, rabbet and sheer. here in blue:
I figure this should be found in the 2 sets of “transom at sheer” and “rabbet at sheer” boxes, but I can’t make sense of how to read the data and plot the connecting curves…
