Sketchup 24.0484 64-bit Win 10 Pro. When placing a Live Lab component in the model selecting “Configure Live Component” by right mouse click does not invoke the configuration popup window and I can’t configure the component. Any ideas or information? Thank you.
same here-does any one know what to do? alt+space+m does not help, neither working on one ore two screens.
Hi Kristian, which version of SketchUp are you using? This is supposed to be fixed in 2025, so I would enourage you to upgrade if you haven’t already. Please let me know if you see the same issue in SketchUp 2025.
In case you can’t upgrade at this time, I can offer a workaround - are you using Windows or Mac?

Hi Kyle! Good to know its fixed in 25! I need to use 24 for some more time, so a fix for Windows10 is very useful.

Hi Kristian,
First, be sure to close all sketchup windows.
Use a text editor (Notepad will do just file and should be pre-installed on your system) to open your private preferences file at the following location:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 2024\SketchUp\PrivatePreferences.json, for example mine is at
C:\Users\kmartin1\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 2024\SketchUp\PrivatePreferences.json.
Search the file for WebCommonDialog_LiveComponent - you should find an entry as I have highlighted here, which you should delete.
Now save and close the file, and open SketchUp. The LC configure window should be back on your screen when you use a live compoment.
