Components that are physically in front of other components in 3d space are hidden by components behind them

This has been an issue that has been bugging me for years, but I never did anything about it till now. When using tree/shrub components in landscape models, some components (usually derived from single polygon png image) will “mask” other components that are in front of them on the ground plane. In the image attached the ornamental grasses are 3d objects, and the trees (placed behind grasses) are a single face with a png image. The larger shrubs to the rear are also single face components with a png image.

Any help is appreciated!

Switch the Transparency Quality setting to “Nicer” in your Style>Edit>Face Settings window.
