A quiet place, where the forest and the lake meet under the warm roof of wood.
This house is more than a shelter — it’s a space to slow down, clear your mind, and feel at peace.
Here, being alone doesn’t mean being lonely, but fully present with yourself.
SketchUp + Lumion
I took my dog for an early morning walk yesterday. A 15 minute stroll to a local hill overlooking the countryside. I stopped and looked out at the misty fields in the distance and your words “being alone doesn’t mean being lonely, but fully present with yourself” felt very apt.
I took a picture and thought this would be a perfect place to build a house with a breath-taking view.
If I ever win the lottery, I’ll be in touch - I’ll need an architect!

Well then, let’s hope together that you win the lottery ![]()
nice work
I was impressed by @paul.millet’s post and it reminded me that I once created a 3D model for the restoration of a monument of architecture of national significance.
It is a complex of buildings, dating back to the mid-19th century, occupying half of a city block. The building is designed in an eclectic style, based on classicist architecture with nuances of neo-romanian style.
I created the 3D model, but unfortunately, due to an accident, the execution phase of the project was continued by other colleagues from the office.
Obviously, the model isn’t as detailed, and I’m not as fast as Paul
. It took me way more than 30 hours of modeling, but this beautiful model remained left in my work archive, and I found it interesting to browse through some of my older personal projects.
