Collada file not created when uploaded to 3d Warehouse

I have been using the free web version of SketchUp for several years. I only use it for personal use when I have a project for my house or recently when my mother remodeled her kitchen. As a free user I have always created what I need in SketchUp, uploaded to the 3d Warehouse, then downloaded the collada file to use in Sweet Home 3d. In the past couple of weeks I have been trying to plan a new bathroom in my home for my daughter. When I created a shower to be similar to the shower we are hoping to install I successfully uploaded it to 3d Warehouse, but the only file type is the .skp file. Does uploading to 3d Warehouse no longer automatically create a collada file or is there some sort of issue going on? If a collada file is supposed to be created, what can I do to fix this? I have searched and cannot seem to find an answer anywhere.

Interesting. Looking through my content on the 3D Warehouse, I see some of them have Collada files available while others don’t. Some of them were uploaded a long time ago so I don’t know that there’s a recent change. Or maybe Collada files are being removed and they haven’t removed all of them. Someone from the 3D Warehouse team can probably answer.

Bah - forget to hit send. I was at 3D Basecamp and chatted with folks about this. We’ve filed a bug, and it’ll get fixed. I’ll respond here when it is.

The good news is that the files are there - they’re just not being displayed as being available for download.

Thanks!

Any update on this issue?

I’m not sure if they fixed it or not, and a lot of people out for the holidays. Try rerendering the model on 3D Warehouse, or if you can’t figure out how to do that, send a link to me.
