Hello,
I have purchase clothworks
When I create a circle and Make cloth then trying to Apply quadrilateral grid
I get an error.
See attached
You could use the Adaptive Grid instead. Or, if you must use the Quadrilateral Grid, start with a square, amke it the cloth and give it the grid, then edit the component and draw the circle followed by erasing the outer square.
I did that for the top cloth here.
I tend to use the Adaptive grid instead.
Also got the error message when applying the quardilateral grid to a circular or triangular faces, when applied to a square face it worked fine.
As mentioned in the clothworks manual (pdf) on page 4 number 7, you may better use the Adaptive option for non rectangular faces.
quote: “Adaptive grid is used for applying grids to shapes that are not rectangular.”
… Like DaveR just mentioned as well
Adaptive grid worked Thank you.
Every Instructions I have watched suggested Quadrilateral .
The face is wrinkled.
How to smooth face?
Ok That makes sense,
Thank You.
right click on it, then choose smoothen/soften, and slide the cursor (in the panel that appeared on your right) slowly to the right.
if it’s still not great, you probably need a higher definition of the grid. the bigger the definition, the smoother the result. but it also creates a lot more geometry.
I had blender downloaded however it was too difficult to learn so in uninstalled it.
I smoothed it all the way to the right.
Not sure how to resolve this.
