I wish to start creating some flags but Clothworks does not show in my context menu. Without it I cannot tell it that my rectangle is a Cloth. I am on Mac OS Sequoia (15.6).
Thanks.
Edson

What is it that you have selected when you bring up the context menu?
I took the initial step, which is to create a rectangle and make a group. Just this.
Do you have the license for Clothworks? Do you have the current version of the Sketchucation ExtensionStore installed?
Very odd! I opened a clean file, created a rectangle, grouped it and now it worked. I must have done something wrong before.
Thanks, Dave. Your question made me try it in a different way.
Yes, I do and I have the latest version installed. The strange thing is that in the file I was working on ( model with a lot of stuff) the problem persists.
Maybe you could share the problematic SketchUp file?
Yes, but I would rather send it to you directly. It is part of a job I am doing. Could you send me your email?
Upload it to DropBox and then click on my name here followed by Message and put the link in a private message.
Good idea. Will do it first thing in the morning.
I just looked at your SketchUp file. If you move the flag group out of the giant component, Clothworks will show in the Context menu and you can make it a cloth. The cloth group/component needs to be in the top level.
I would also like to be a loyal citizen of Tableclothia.
Thanks, Dave. I really did not know this aspect of ClothWorks. It is a component so that I can work on it out of this file and reload it when finished.
The flag is a group, though. And it needs to be at the top level in order to be used with clothworks.
