Change system to default to AMD/NVIDIA GPU

A warning comes up (shown below) to use AMD/NVIDIA GPU but when I click the link to the help center for assistance, it really doesn’t give me the ‘how to’ on changing this. Can someone help with practical steps to take?
Thanks

The following warnings were found when launching SketchUp:

- SketchUp has detected your computer system has multiple GPUs and is defaulting to an integrated Intel GPU. SketchUp will perform better if you change your system to default to the AMD/NVIDIA GPU.

See this Help Center article for more information.

Your integrated gpu may not meet the minimum requirements to run sketchup.

Before SketchUp 2024 you would have to go into the graphics car settings, to make sure it was set to use the better GPU for SketchUp. With SketchUp 2024 and 2025 you can go into Preferences in SketchUp, Graphics, and then you the menu to choose which GPU will be used. If that menu has anything in it other than Intel GPU, try choosing the other one. Most likely AMD or Nvidia.

thanks Colin, great information which allowed me to resolve it straight away

In case anyone else has the same issue, can you say what GPUs showed up in that menu?
