Change color on what I draw?

How do I change so the color automatically is white in the template instead of blue of the things I draw?

And how do I change the color of the background?

The blue indicates exposed back faces. Right click on the blue face and choose Reverse Faces.

You can change that in the styles panel.
If you want to keep it after you changed it to your preferences, you can use “save as template” ,name it and make sure “set as default template” is checked.
