Center of an object or face

How to find the center of an object or face in Sketchup Square One? There is some Snap to center when using Click-move-click option, but when using Pencil mode I cannot find any possibility to quick find center of an object.
Let’s say I have two objects and I want to align them on one axis center to center. So what is the easiest way to do it? Thanks for help

SketchUp Square one is not a SketchUp version but a series of instructional videos on the official SketchUp YouTube channel, so I’m not sure which version you are really using…
Please correct your forum profile because that information helps us to give you the correct answers!

As to the finding of a center of a face, you have to hover your cursor over a line for a second or two to get the inference and then hover over the other line for a second or two, then move towards the middle of the face and look for the inferencing of the middle…
This does work on irregular faces too but not to find the center of an irregular face…

The “center” of a face is ambiguous whether you mean the ‘center of gravity’ or the ‘center of a bounding rectangle/circle (or other shape)’ - Think of a concave face the shape of an L .

Grips Option
If you group each of your objects, when you use the move tool, you will be able to use the grips to find distinct locations of the object bounds. You can toggle to a mode that displays the center grip and use this to position your objects

Hope this helps

I think that is only working in Click move click mode, not in Pencil mode?

@dr.trufanov
We still don’t know for sure what SketchUp version you are using.
Please update your forum profile!

@tweenulzeven Sketchup Square One 6.5.5 (2098)

Use @ChrisDizon’s method. Cycle through the grips with [Alt] to see the where to grab your face group when moving the face group. (face group 2 shows the desired grip)
Move to (some arbitrary created) target.
Do so for 1, 2 and 3 (see image below).

I already told you that Square One is not a SketchUp version but a series of educational videos on the official SketchUp YouTube channel…

Pretty clear this is about using the Ipad version, so the offered solutions don’t really work.
With the Pencil on the ipad your best bet is to do it in two moves using the middle of the edges and axis lock.
