Center of a face

Is there a way I can find the center of a face, i.e. the center of an ellipse created by the intersection of a non ortogonal plane and a cilinder?

Can you show a screenshot or post a model that shows what you describe?

Maybe Face Centroid and Area Properties?

For something like that simply drawing a line between opposite vertices would help you identify the center easily enough.

What is it you are modeling and how will you use that center point once you’ve identified it?

Is a group of canopies and in the top of the colum there will be a canvas canopy tiying all together, thats why I need the center of that face, to draw the canvas canopy like a hiperboloid

Is this file imported geometry from another file format?. There are a lot of coplanar hidden lines.

Only the canopies. It was created in Autocad 3d, the rest of the drawign was drawn in Autocad 3d.
