Can't run SU 2016 Pro (32bit) after free trial expired

Every thing I’ve read says that you can keep running SU 2016 Pro after the trial has expired and that the pro features will be greyed out. However, when I run SU, I’m given the opportunity to Buy/Add a license only. No path to get the program running and keep working with the reduced feature set. What am I missing? Do I have to remove Pro and install Make?

If you installed SketchUp 2016 Pro from Download All | SketchUp then it won’t revert to the Make version at the end of the trial period. You need to have installed the Make version which you can get from here. You’ll first need to uninstall SketchUp Pro before installing Make.

Note that SketchUp Make is for non-commercial use only. Normally SketchUp Make would start with a 30-day trial of Pro and then revert to Make if no license is added. I expect you’ll just go right into Make after you install it.

OK, that clears it up. I started from the wrong place. I’ll uninstall Pro and install Make. Not for commercial use. Thanks, DaveR!

All of which worked OK, despite reading that could be problems.
