Double-clicked SketchUpMake >> Start using Sketchup >> Screen opens, but is blank - all tools inactive. Sure would appreciate help to get started.

When launching Wine from a console, you should expect that it throws out a lot of “stuff” – there are a lot of “fixme” lines but can usually be ignored.

You used SketchUp Make 2014. SketchUp 2014 comes with Ruby 2.0 and Ruby 2.0 has at the moment issues in Wine (ntdll error and lockup). You could start SketchUp with -disableRubyAPI, but that gives only half the fun and you’d better choose SketchUp Make 2013. There aren’t so many overwhelming features that you would miss in the older version.

Unfortunately there is not much you could gain in this forum, the SketchUp HQ appear not to have too deep interest about Wine problems.
