Download or install? What does that message say?

I’m experiencing the exact same issue.
I’m trying to install SketchUp 2026.1 on Windows, but the installation fails every time with an MD5 check error.
The error message indicates that the following file may be corrupted and fails MD5 verification:SketchUpLanguage-2026-1-185-44-ja.msiI’ve tried re-downloading the installer multiple times from the official SketchUp website, running it as Administrator, and rebooting Windows, but the issue persists and fails at the same step each time.SketchUp 2025 installs and runs normally on the same machine, so this doesn’t appear to be an OS-related problem.Just wanted to add that I’m seeing the same behavior.
Any updates or official guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Try downloading the offline installer.

Im having the exact same problem with the online installer. I downloaded the link here and it keeps saying that the wizard was interupted before completion…… so neiter online or direct from harddrive it wont install.
There are things usually cause this:
There is a stuck SU process (or installation process) when you start the installer. Restart Windows, make sure you are not running Sketchup, and then start the offline installer.
If 2026.0 is already installed and you have run the update installer multiple times, it is possible that some entries have been made by the non-running installer, which no longer allows the process to be executed properly.
In this case, uninstall 2026.0, e.g. via Windows Control Panel>>Programs and Features. Then restart the computer and try the offline installer as above.

I’ve got the same problem while installing 2026.1 in french. I succeeded in deselecting french language. now SU speaks english and my shortcuts don’t work properly because commands have not the same name depending the language.
it looks like that a part of the installation package is corrupted. the part with other languages than english.
after installing SU in english I restarted the computer and runed the package from fransicofiallosb. it works. now SU speaks french.
