I have SketchUp Make 2017 on two computers and recently both freeze up whenever I try to use Eneroth’s Open Newer Version. Is anyone else having this issue?
Open the Ruby Console before trying to run the extension and report any messages.
Obviously SU2017 hasn’t changed in years and there’s been no recent change to the extension so what did change on your computer?
When trying to open a complex model with “open newer version “ it’s normal for SketchUp to ”freeze” because it has to do a lot of work before being able to display it..
Last time i tried, it worked fine for me.
Are you using the latest version?

Did you update your windows version? / Do you (stil) have the right priviliges?

Ruby console did not show anything after 15 minutes
I tried a 46KB file from the Warehouse and it still froze
Yes, I am using 1.0.8. More than likely Windows has updated since I got Open Newer Version to work last. I do not know how to tell if I have the right privileges
I tried saving one of the files that would not open from SU for Web but Open Newer Version still would not open it
