Dear all
A couple of my files do not open (most of them do). I am getting an error message “Sketchup as encountered a problem opening this model”
I am trying to open this files in Trimble connect.
Can someone please help. I am desperate since this is an important file to me, which has taken me considerable time to put together.

You can try downloading & inserting the model directly by going to https://web.connect.trimble.com. You can also try opening a past version of the model as described here: Saving, Opening, and Downloading Models | SketchUp Help

After many different attempts on of the previous version in history did open. Only had to redo some of the changes.
