I currently work at a college and we were wondering if we are allowed to teach a class using SketchUp for Web (Free version) or if we need to purchase a subscription?
I’m not sure if you’re able to do that with the free version, but there’s a sketchup for schools version, it’s web based as well but it has more tools than the free version.
I taught high school student once with SketchUp for Schools. I don’t know for sure, but I got the impression that SUfS exists possibly because of certain privacy rights laws when working with minor aged students, and that isn’t addressed by the regular free version. There’s a good chance that doesn’t apply to college students, but I don’t really know the answer. Someone from Trimble can probably answer that better.
