Can i join two spaces in one space

Hey guys, i’m quite a beginner in Sketchup. i’m using Sketchup to create a simple model for research purposes " the impact of changing architectural envelope of a building on energy consumption " and i wonder if i can merge the spaces in the floors to make it one space without that line in the middle.

Sure you can do that. In different ways.

One is:

  • select both the left and the right floor group.
  • right click selection and select ‘Make Group’ in the context menu, to make a single group (with both groups inside ! )
  • enter the “parent” group and left click both groups and right click and select ‘Explode’ in the context menu.
