Is there a way to calculate the total area of surfaces by material type or color in SketchUp? Example, if I have several rooms with the same material being used in all rooms, is there a way to add the total area of this material quickly without have to select every surface manually?
There is an easy way in the Windows version, but not in the Mac version that I can see. If you’re able to open the model under Windows you can right-click on any of the In Model materials, and choose Area to see what the total area is.
