I’ve been using CabinetSense in SketchUp and I’m looking to customize the way Cabineo connectors are applied.
By default, CabinetSense places the Cabineo so that the shoulder sits on the surface of the board. I’d like to know if there’s a way to recess the Cabineo slightly, by having a pocket cut around the top so that the shoulder sits within the board surface rather than slightly protruding.
My goal is to maintain this within CabinetSense because I rely on the machine database rules to automatically place the connectors at consistent spacing. It’s efficient and I’d prefer not to lose that functionality.
However, I’d also be interested in learning how I could start creating similar rules myself using dynamic components I’ve already developed.
Any advice, tips, or directions to documentation would be greatly appreciated!
