My daughter is an Architecture student in Brazil and I want to buy a license for her, but the local resellers are either not making it simple to buy it online or trying to price-gouge with an almost 100% premium on top of the $55 original fee. My question to you is: can I purchase it directly from you online? Will the license work for her?

I don’t know how is it working now but when I was a student it was impossible to get an student license, Trimble make it to hard in comparison with other softwares like Autocad that only asks you for some proofs and you’ll get your student license immediately, and it lasted for two years, the same with Archicad and both are completely free, SketchUp isn’t. Trimble must understand that students are potencial clients.
