Bought Sketchup Pro but cannot activate it

I bought and paid for Sketchup Pro. I am being asked to assign it. But when I login I don’t see any option to assign Sketchup or even see my purchase. I did get charged and also got an invoice.

The Trimble page constantly keeps asking to allow cookies. Dumb and annoying!

Your profile says you have SketchUp 2020. Is that the version you are talking about here?

So correct your forum profile. It’s way out of date.

It appears from the message that you didn’t assign the license to yourself when you purchased it. Go into your Trimble account and assign it to yourself.

I have been trying to figure out how to change my profile details. That also requires help. Appreciate your trying to help, when did you see the two images I uploaded? - which I get when I try to assign the license to me. I click on the manage account email I got in a minute of my purchase and when I click on it nothing happens. Also when I log on my account I don’t see my purchase.

Click on the Person icon, then Preferences, then Profile. Update all of the information as needed. Scroll to the bottom and save the changes.

Perhaps @colin can check into your account status if he’s available. Otherwise it’ll probably be tomorrow when there is staff in the office.

Thanks Dave! Done. Will wait until tomorrow. Until then I have the trail version and my work is progressing. I use Sketchup to design shoe heels, components, shoe making jigs, small shoe making machines etc.

Very interesting. That’s an application for SketchUp I’ve never seen mentioned before. I bet there’d be some interest if you post images of your models and the finished products in the Gallery section of the forum.
