If I want to select something in sketchup I get a black image and ut stays black
Your profile lists both SketchUp Make and 2018. Are you using Make or SU 2018? Starting with 2018, there is no Make version of SU 2018 (only Pro).
an OpenGL issue of the graphics card driver, update first.
As a workaround configuring “Window > Preferences > OpenGL > 0x anti-aliasing” might work too.
