AutoCAD and Sketchup on 2 separate computers. Possible to import dwg's?

Hi,

If I have AutoCAD on one computer without sketchup, and only sketchup on a separate laptop (that doesn’t have autocad). Do AutoCAD and Sketchup have to be on the same computer to import dwgs, or can I just send the dwg file between computers and open it in Sketchup in that way?

If you have Pro you ‘Import’ files like DWG.
These file can come from anywhere.
So, to answer your initial question… is you can import a DWG file, either if it’s on the SketchUp computer, or somewhere on a network that it can access…
