Can anyone explain why choosing custom resolution and custom aspect ratio to export an animation doesn’t actually work. You can try, but it doesn’t work. Something in the software changes these setting when you say OK. I’m trying to get 2:3 aspect.
I’m open to using an extension, but seriously, if it won’t do “custom”, why does it offer to do “custom?”
When you export a single image (jpg, etc), if you specify the exact pixel numbers, the aspect ratio of your SU window are ignored. Why wouldn’t animation do the same?
I haven’t exported an animation since v7 or 8, only image sequences or I make gifs…
but I resize my viewport 2 or 3 times a day for various things…
I think it works in v20…

It seems that when you change from one of the preset resolutions, and change to custom for both things, the height reverts to the height of the last used preset. Your example of 1620x1080 will work if the last preset you had selected was 1080p.
It does seem like something that should be fixed, but you can get whatever ratio you like, so long as your width is a standard height * the ratio you want.
