Does anybody know how to animate the model exactly as Trimble/SketchUp did on their website welcome page? people, trees and lighting.

I would say those people are either axyz assets or entourage available in Lumion/twinmotion which would be separate rendering software which can insert sketchup models. Its a bit misleading for a splash sketchup page?
There are very good animation extensions for SketchUp, such as @Fredo6’s Animator on the Sketchucation web site.
I like and use Fredo’s animator, but I don’t think it could achieve this?
