Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to open my sketchup project this morning but it continues to upload without showing me anything … I’m desperate I have an exam tomorrow …
Upload the .skp file here so we can take a look at it and help you.
What version of SketchUp are you really using? Your profile indicates a version that does not exist. Having your profile complete and correct helps us help you.
sto usando la versione make 2017, non mi fa nemmeno caricare il file
I’m using make 2017 version, it doesn’t even let me upload the file.
Please correct your profile.
Very likely it’s too large to upload here. Upload it to Drop Box and share the link.
non so proprio come fare…
dropbox è a pagamento?
I don’t know how to do it …
Use Google Drive then.
Both Drop Box and Google Drive have instructions to teach you how to use them.
Is dropbox paid?
They offer free storage.
sto cercando di condividerlo con google drive
Still watching for you to share the link.
Ho lo stesso problema il file si apre ma non si vede il progetto
parrucchiere.zip (15.4 MB)
yeah, you have one MASSIVE component, the CALDAIA.3ds one. and apparently you scaled it up massively.
hiding it worked, after removing the scaling here it is.

plus lots of things to purge.
parrucchiere17.skp (11.2 MB)
Than’s so much
Also, I made a group with your walls. it’s always good to have them grouped ![]()
Hi I have the same problem, can someone help me ? I think the lights IES are the problem
As an italian, I guess I should stop apologizing for my bad English every time. ![]()
I can open your model using SketchUp 2026 on my Mac. I don’t see any evidence that the lights IES are an issue.
However, the model is heavily bloated with over-detailed objects and excessively large materials images (see attached screenshots to see main offenders). It may be too large for your computer to handle.
A purge will get rid of some of the bloat, but you will have to look to reduce the size of images and the complexity of components. Also, there is a fair amount of tagging of edges and faces you should correct - that is a common path to very confusing visibility issues.
