Hi Guys and girls, new to sketchup and learning my way around. First forum post so if i am in the wrong area, sorry. I want to create some flat pack furniture using a number of different component parts that i can resize the width but keep specific elements, such as the size of holes, finger joints that are a specific width in relation to the component size, location of holes and slots…so on. Does it have a name? Is it using dynamic components? can you point me in the direction of some tutorials? Sorry for all the question, but thank you.
Yes, Dynamic Components. They are a fiddle to set up right but, once you do, can be very powerful.
