Adding thickness to closed shape


How can I add a 1/8" wall thickness to this part?

Joint Push/Pull would probably be the easiest. You can get it from Sketchucation.

If you share the .skp file it would be easier to give you some good ideas for modeling it.

Thanks, but after reading about the JPP extension, I didn’t think it would hollow out a shell? I included the sketch up file.

After shifting the group off to the side so there’s only one set of the geometry and correcting the reversed faces…

Joint Push/Pull works just fine for me.

By the way, don’t paint back faces. That doesn’t fix the reversed faces. If this is a thing you want to 3D print you need to get face orientation correct. The blue back faces will face the print media while the white front faces are toward air. Adding materials to mask the blue back faces won’t fix them.
