Hello, because those are groups. I can add and display description for groups, but other tools only display description of components.

Maybe you could have a button to convert groups with info into components with info

The desciption of components does not display in Entity Info. Let switch to Component tray, choose component from In Model list, you will see description was there.

SketchUp has this field already, I just use it to expand more room for more information. Many plugins use it, for example Profile Builder 3, and my paid plugin 5D+ Auto VBO.
