This is more of an FYI:
The extension migration tool did not move the 3dConnection Extension.
So of course my space mouse did not function.
I was required to reinstall the “plugin” through the System Settings…
And then it required another restart / reboot.
Note:
there is no 3dConnexion extension in the warehouse, there use to be… but that was a long time ago.
They install their main extension in /Library instead of your user Library. It may be that the extension migrator doesn’t look there. Try downloading the latest driver from 3DC and see it that helps. I have it working in 2025 on my Mac.

This all makes sense. 3dConnexion can be used by most apps on your system, and you’ve always had to reinstall it for a new version.
