We’re rolling out a fix for this issue… well… starting right now! It will take a couple days for the fix to reach every model that was affected, because our renderbots need to go and re-render each model. But, you should see models and search results gradually improve over time.
No model was “ruined”. Every model will return to its normal state after our new-and-improved render machines take another look at it.
Thanks again for your patience. We didn’t like how some of our most popular models were affected either. But, as @Barry said, it was really important for us to get this right and not let it happen again.
