3D warehouse searching with image problem

Hi robertk!

One thing to make sure of is that you are using the same email address in 3D Warehouse that you use for your SketchUp subscription.

If you are and you still don’t have access to Image Search, let me know and we’ll dig deeper.

Thanks!
Guz

If you see this screen it generally means that 3D Warehouse doesn’t recognize that you are a subscriber.

If you log out of 3D Warehouse (example of that menu below) and back in with the email address associated with your subscription, we should see that you’re a subscriber and Image Search should just work.

Thank you for the help. Meanwhile I signed off and back on and the issue just disappeared.

Hello!

I have also had this message when using 3d warehouse, saying that i needed a subscription to use the reverse image search function (I have a Pro subscription). I signed in and out of my account and it is now coming up with a message that I have reached the image search limit. I wasn’t aware there was a limit? I use image search often and have been since 2023 and have never come across this before…

Looking into this now.
This seems like a bug. I have submitted a research ticket for our QA team to see if we can get to the bottom of it.

Thank you!

Hi everyone, we wanted to provide an update on the Image Search issues some of you have reported.

We’ve discovered that certain search errors are incorrectly triggering the “you have reached your limits” screen. In reality, the search is simply returning zero results due to a bug on our side. Since Image Search should almost always return something, the system is misinterpreting this technical “hiccup” as a limit restriction.

Our team is currently building a way to better track this error so we can squash it for good. In the meantime, a quick page refresh, cache clear, or re-login usually gets things back on track.

Thanks for sticking with us while we get this sorted!

PS> Just for context, there is a daily limit of 1,000 image searches (including the “Find More Like This” tool), but we’ve checked the accounts reporting this and everyone was well under that mark. So if you see that error, it’s definitely the bug talking, not your usage!

Good day Sir. I came across with the same problem for image search. The license that I’m using for my computer is Sketchup pro, and I we didn’t have this kind of problem before. Can you help with this? Thank you

Your profile says you are using SketchUp 2023. Is this a “business” license?
