Note how much straighter my quotes are, and note that https: is colored in the same color (Javascript syntax coloring) as the rest of the URL.
I see. I managed to resolve the issue using this method in the end:
"Have you unplugged an external monitor? @DaveR suggested the window was opening off screen. Have you tried this:
- type alt+space
- type m
- click an arrow key
- move the mouse until the window appears
That’s what I figured - this was only to show that you have no network limitations on getting to 3DW (which has happened) from inside SketchUp. Glad you’re working again.
b
ps - I think we’ll nickname those steps as “The @dezmo move”
The forum prints smart quote characters unless the poster (Barry) uses markdown code delimiters (backticks), like so.
I have a user with a similar issue. We are able to open the 3d warehouse per your instructions re: the dev tools. I have no idea what to troubleshoot next.
Click on the Console tab. Are there errors listed?
No. Can load the warehouse with this workaround but not from Windows > 3d warehouse
Hi, I got the 3D warehouse to open through the extension warehouse, but can’t download anything from it. Any tips?
You opened the Extension Warehouse window, and then changed the location to the 3D Warehouse website?
If so, likely this will not work because the sketchup
JS Object for the EW window does not have the methods for interacting with the 3DW server that the sketchup
JS Object loaded into the 3DW window has.
NOTE: The instructions given by Barry above are only for a network testing purpose, not as a workaround to use the 3D Warehouse.
Ah sorry; figured it out. I had downloaded 2025 and apparently never installed and was still using '24.
