3D Printing with circles

I have created a simple circular design in in sketchup pro and being told that there are to many triangles in the design to print. I am being told to design in autodesk fusion 360. Not really interested in learning a whole new program any help would be great

When I model for 3D printing I do it with units set to Meters and enter millimeters or inches in meters. The exported .stl file is unitless so I set the import units in the slicer to mm or inches as needed. This gets around the tiny faces issue which the “too many sides” thing is trying to prevent.
