Hi, I am looking to model this section of the cliff by the Bristol Suspension bridge. Cadmapper and the Geolocation sadly arent able to create an accurate cliff face, any ideas if theres a way of downloading the mesh from google earth or anything.
You could hypothetically look up some software called RenderDoc and hypothetically use it to scrape the 3d model from g.oogle maps but this would break g.oogles terms of service so this is only theoretical information.
How much detail are you looking for? If you have Placemaker you can get a Google Map Tiles API Key and extract what you need (as shown in Daniel Tal’s video)
You can also use ‘Bitmap to Mesh’ Extension to grab a heightmap and convert to mesh. See test here and comparison to google mesh (old data) and cadmapper (open data):
