3-D DXF Export results in Autodesk Viewer "design is empty"

Hi - I am using the Export > 3D > DXF function in SketchUp Pro. When I test the resulting DXF file in the Autodesk Viewer, I get a “design is empty” message. Any ideas?

BTW - when I export the same file using the Export > 3D > DWG function the result looks fine in the Autodesk Viewer. Also, when I export the same file using the Export > 2D > DXF function the result looks fine in the Autodesk Viewer.

besides wondering, if DWG works why using DXF?

You may want cross-proof w/ the free Teigha Drawing Explorer too. Or simply import back into SketchUp.

Thank you for the tip. I’ll give it a try.
Reason for both DXF and DWG is to provide as much compatibility as I can for non Autodesk systems.

DXF (text) or DWG (binary) is practically the same content besides DXF producing a roughly 10x larger file size. No reason to provide DXFs besides an ol’ destination application isn’t able to import DWGs.
