Probably a stupid question but in 2025, I’ve imported a geolocation as normal, but then in when I turn off 2d plane via Tags, it can still be seen, albeit greyed out. (see pic)
What am I doing wrong?!

Share the .skp file so we can see exactly what you set up.
It looks like you have the ground color set to white and partially transparent and your 3D terrain drops below the ground. If that’s the case, turn off Ground in the style and update the style.

Ah thanks so much @DaveR - that was it! Completely forgot about the ground colour/style.

FWIW you probably don’t need the ground turned on at all, anyway.
