Hello,
I am trying to start a free trial of the 2022 version. All goes well until I get a spinning icon and the word “Working…”. The program stalls at this point.
Any ideas?

How did you install it? Did you right click on the downloaded installer and select Run as administrator?
I didn’t get that far. I signed into Trimble through Apple and it stalls after I input the information in the “get to know each other” section.

Maybe @colin will have a suggestion. Sounds like it’s not the SketchUp app that is stalling.

It’s the installer for all Windows versions, because there is only one version that gets installed. When you open SketchUp and sign in with an email that doesn’t have a subscription, you are then given the 30 day trial. At that point you close SketchUp and reopen it, and sign in with the email address you just used, and that starts the 30 days.

I followed your directions and it won’t allow me to gain access. After the download I started the process by signing in with my email address and a password. I received this message “The username or password you entered is incorrect. Please try again, or reset your password.”
I closed the program and opened it again and signed in with the same email address and password and I received the same message.
What am I doing wrong?

If you are using your hotmail address, that does not yet exist as a Trimble ID. You would put in the email address, and then on the next screen you enter your details, and choose your own new password. After that you would get a confirmation email, to then activate the account. Then the sign in should work.
