Clipping Box? Or Clipping Mask in LayOut?
Hi. I think it is a scan essential problem. I have now uploaded and am using 2024. The command for Activating Clipping Box is missing in the Outliner
??? I know that Revit and Archicad have a clipping box but SketchUp only has section planes.
hmm, looks like for now all of us who answered are not familliar with scan essential…

Install the latest version of Trimble Scan Essentials, restart SketchUp

Thanks for your input, everyone. I had to update all Graphics card drivers, Delete & reinstall SU & Scan Essentials, Start new SU model, bring in new Point Cloud, Copy in Place all existing work - Now All Good. Still not sure what caused all this angst.

I have not used Scan Essentials for several years now … but when I did a “head -to-head” comparison a few years ago, there was no comparison. Thus, if you are still in the “evaluation phase” with Scan Essentials, you may want to consider the Undet toolset for point cloud work in SketchUp. Undet will allow you a two week, no charge evaluation … so if you have an active project, evaluating the Undet toolset may be worth your while.
