The model that I am working on suddenly became transparent. By this I meant that I am able to see the edges on the back side of each component in my model. The edges on the back side of the components are represented with dotted lines that are lighter than the solid edges in front. Very distracting. What did I do to make this happen and how can I make them go away?
Did you happen to hit the “K” key? This is a shortcut to expose the back edges.

You could have changed to a style with back edges on or perhaps hit the toolbar key.
Here are a few possibilities.
