I’m trying to use the new “Environments” feature, but the selected environment isn’t appearing in the model. However, it does appear when I render. And I don’t know if it’s related, but I can’t activate the photorealistic face material style in my SketchUp model. Can anyone help me, please? I’m using SketchUp 2026, V-Ray 7.2, and I have a powerful and fast computer with an RTX 5070 graphics card, which shouldn’t give me any problems.
Please don’t do whatever you did to the text again… it’s hard to read.
Do you have the new or old graphics engine enabled?
It sounds like you haven’t got the “new graphics engine” enabled in the SketchUp preferences.
it’s either been turned off or perhaps your machine doesn’t support it.

I apologize for not speaking your language perfectly. I have tried to explain my problem with SketchUp as best I could, hoping someone could kindly lend me a hand.
That’s right, I didn’t have the new graphics engine enabled. Thanks for your reply.

Great.
Language is not a problem. The scrolling long one line of text is the issue. I do not have a 65” monitor to read your question without scrolling.
OK! Thanks for the advice. Next time I’ll try to post in a more readable way. ![]()
